Joaquin Phoenix, three-time Oscar nominee (“Gladiator”, “The Master,” “Walk the Line,”) stars alongside Oscar winner Robert De Niro (“Raging Bull,” “The Godfather: Part II”) in the "Joker".

He takes up the dark role of Arthur Fleck, a lost soul in Gotham City; a clown by day and aspiring stand-up comic at night. Director Todd Phillips points his lens towards Batman's arch nemesis in this intense character study.
