Running since Aug, this exhibition is soon to come to an end (18th Oct).
STASIS is an exhibition of recent works by: Olawunmi Banjo, Kelechi Nwaneri and Djakou Kassi Nathalie, curated by Sandra Mbanefo Obiago of SMO Contemporary Art.
In this exhibition, we are welcomed to explore stasis - the state of equilibrium or inactivity caused by opposing equal forces - through the eyes of these three artists through drawings, paintings and ceramics.
In the words of the curator, Sandra, these artists “touch an existential raw nerve as they explore our yearning for balance and belonging in an ever changing physical and emotional landscape.”
