Eat Drink Festival - Day 1 | FOOD FEST

Eat Drink Festival is now in its 4th Year and whilst the focus is still very much about the food and drink, they'd added an entertainment element to it and extended out the day.

If you follow EDL, you'll know they regularly share what's on their playlist, so they're essentially bringing this element offline into the festival and have managed to enlist the likes of Niniola and Boj. Sadly, we don't know who is playing which days but here's the line-up as it stands.

Food wise, Dooney's Kitchen, Toasties, Thai Thai and The Fishlady are just some of the folks that will be in attendance. Hans&Rene will be bringing some sweetness to the table.

Oh and the whole thing is cashless, so ain't nobody can claim they don't have change. Hoorah!

We're a little bit obsessed with Ozoz (aka Kitchen Butterfly) and her encyclopaedic knowledge and passion for flavours and food of our land. On Day 1 from 13:00-14:00 she'll be imparting her knowledge on Nigerian seasonal produce with a focus on pawpaw, musing on its origin and how best to preserve it as well as doing a demonstration of one of her signature dishes - a pawpaw and ginger jam with chilli and tomatoes.

Much more detailed FAQs are on their website.
