Lakin Ogunbanwo | EXHIBITION

E WÁ WO MI and ARE WE GOOD

Niki Cryan, a curator focusing on contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora is exhibiting works by acclaimed Nigerian photographer Lakin Ogunbanwo through her pop up gallery. You need to contact her to find out where though – all very morse code!

Don’t let that put you off though - persevere and book that appointment as you’ll get a chance to see (if you haven’t already), two well know bodies of work by the talented photographer who hasn’t exhibited in the city since 2013. Entitled E WÁ WO MI and ARE WE GOOD ENOUGH; both of these works explore identity, tradition and self-presentation amongst other themes, all delivered via Ogunbanwo’s elegant, thoughtful lens.
