WOW. Perhaps not the most eloquent response but a genuine emotional reflection on the space meticulously curated by Caline Chagoury.
At Floor One 9, you're immersed in an elegant and vibrant world of contemporary art and design from across the continent.
The installation of The Baba Tree baskets on plinths literally and figuratively elevates these chic baskets.
Finely patterned vases by Moroccan CHABI CHIC sit on wooden ledges and are on the more affordable end of the spectrum. The pièce de résistance is the eye-wateringly expensive chaise lounge entitled 'Butterfly' by Rwandan born Dr Lambert Shumbusho but my goodness is it a thing of beauty. This artistic piece is hand carved from fallen tree trunks by Lambert; if we win the lottery and buy this piece, no one is sitting on it sha !
